The Shop and Service Departments are capable of assembling, servicing and remanufacturing complete engine and power packages. The shops are equipped with a multiplicity of special machines, tools and equipment to perform the above functions.

The shops have an assembly line for the production of power packages, engineered for customer requirements and specific applications.

A manufacturing area is devoted to the production of fabricated parts required in the assembly of industrial power packages, generating sets, etc. A paint booth is conveniently located for the painting of engines and equipment. Overhead cranes cover the shop area to handle the movement of heavier equipment.

An engine dynamometer test room is available, capable of handling units in excess of 1,000 hp and 1,500 ft. lbs. of torque. Other equipment includes: a load bank for testing generator sets and a marine transmission tester.
